Okanagan Masterpieces Quail Lake Wine Country art print on canvas

In Early 2021 I was selected along with 7 other artists to do mini murals to be displayed at a local craft brewery in Penticton BC. Over 100 artists from the region applied for the project and I was thrilled and honored to be chosen to do the project. The mural I planned to do was based on the Mona Lisa in design, but instead of a human, I thought I would use the quail being the bird that inhabits the region and has become beloved to all that live there. I incorporated vineyards, clay banks, mountain goats and waterfalls, trestles and Ponderosa pines, all elements of the Okanagan and things that make this region unique.
