Feeling frustrated with long and cold Alberta winters I used that frustration to channel this painting of a Lynx "Stepping into Spring" 2024 within the Northern Canadian landscape. The sun shape acting as a portal for this beautiful creature to venture from one season to the next. Spring has sprung and the honeybees and the bumble bees are busy collecting nectar from the multitude of dandelions that burst forth every spring in a symphony of color painting the landscape yellow as the sun.
