Lavender Lake country was originally a commissioned piece. The client was looking for a view of Lake country looking North down the lakes. The Okanagan is a beautiful menagerie of interconnected lakes that create endless landscape painting options. I used primarily Dioxinine Purple and lighter variations to create this overcast scene.
